Structural Engineering

Structural engineering in Our facility involves the design, analysis, and optimization of steel structures that are manufactured in the facility. This process typically includes several key steps:

  1. Project Specification and Requirements: As per the client’s requirements, project specifications, and relevant codes and standards that applied to the project.
  2. Conceptual Design: We Work with architects and other stakeholders to develop a conceptual design for the steel structure. Consider factors such as load requirements, functionality, and aesthetics.
  3. Structural Analysis: We then Conduct a structural analysis to ensure that the proposed design can withstand the applied loads and environmental conditions. This may involve finite element analysis (FEA) or other structural analysis methods.
  4. Detailing and Drafting: We Create detailed drawings and specifications for the steel components. This includes precise measurements, material specifications, welding details, and other relevant information.
  5. Material Selection: We Choose appropriate materials based on the structural requirements, considering factors such as strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Common materials include various grades of structural steel as per IS Codes
  6. Connection Design: Design connections between steel members to ensure stability and load transfer. This involves determining the type of connections (welded or bolted) and specifying their design.
  7. Fabrication Planning: Our fabrication team then plans the manufacturing process. This includes determining cutting sequences, welding procedures, and assembly procedures.
  8. Quality Control: Our quality control procedures ensure that the fabricated steel components meet the required standards and specifications.
  9. Coordination with Other Disciplines: Our engineering disciplines, such as civil and mechanical engineers ensure that the steel structure integrates seamlessly with other components of the overall project.
  10. Project Management: Our PM Manages the overall project timeline, budget, and resources. This involves coordinating with different teams within the fabrication facility and external stakeholders.
  11. Testing and Inspection: We oversee testing and inspection processes to ensure the quality of the fabricated steel components. This may include non-destructive testing (NDT) and other inspection methods.
  12. Documentation: Our comprehensive documentation throughout the design and fabrication process includes design calculations, drawings, material certificates, and other relevant records.

Our structural engineers contribute to the successful fabrication of steel structures, ensuring they meet safety standards, design specifications, and client requirements.
